EasyWorship 2007 Conversion Utility v1.6
If the program you have been using stores its songs in .txt files (eg Presenter 3), you may find that this conversion utility is the quickest way to add your existing songs to the EasyWorship library.
This program is provided
with no warranty and you use it at your own risk. We have successfully tested
this utility using songs in the Presenter 3 format and it brought them in like
this requiring only a few edits:
ie Changing .1 to Verse 1, .0 to Chorus etc
Make Sure EasyWorship is not open when you are doing the conversion.
Below are the screens you will see when you unzip the file and run the program.
There are several formats preset but if in doubt, select the CCLI text file option.
Download the file and unzip it to the EasyWorship directory.
Files to convert: is the location of the directory with the files to add to EasyWorship.
Root EasyWorship directory:
is the directory where the default profile is eg
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Softouch\EasyWorship\Default\Databases
Example: This carol imported with the Title in the corrrect field, the .i information appearing at the top of the song on its own screen, and each verse on its own screen. To edit, copy the .i line to the song info field and change the .1 to read Verse 1 etc.
